CSBC - The History of Champions

From its inception in 2007, the California State Band Championships has had a rich history of champion bands over the last 12 years. The CSBC offers Divisional Finals, where “class champions” are crowned every year. In 2014, due to the expansion of the circuit, an open class “state finals” was created, offering the title of “State Champion” to the winner of this competition. As we approach the final weekend, the CSBC sends out a special recognition and thank you to the following champion bands (number in parentheses indicates the number of champion titles since 2007):

The California State Band Championships salutes all of our over 150 bands that participated in our shows in 2019, and offer a hearty “good skill!” to our 52 Divisional Finals marching bands.
